Join Library Links!
Library Links is a community blogroll of librarian and library blogs and sites. When you join Library Links, you display the Library Links button and the blogroll on your page, in exchange for being listed in the roll. Library Links is designed to help increase your blog's readership while helping to do the same for others.
Joining is simple. You grab the button graphic, copy the code, and post both someplace on your page. If you prefer to post the blogroll someplace other than your front page, that's fine - but please post the button on your front page with a link to this page so that others may join.
How to do it
First, grab the button. Please save the button to your hard drive and then
upload to your server of choice. If you need a free photo host, I highly recommend
photobucket. Then
put the button on your front page with a link back to this page.
You can also put the graphic (with a link back to this page)
at the top of the blogroll, if you wish (or not, I'll leave that to your sense of style).

Next, copy the code. If you would like a full list, the first set of code is for you. If you are concerned with
list length, select the code for a small(er) scrolling box. Examples of each are in the sidebar.
I believe that the text in both cases will default to the style
you have selected for your blog pages (it did for me). And, if you know a little code, you can easily tweek the style
of the scrolling box to suit you. If you need a non-javascript option, I can provide RSS, OPML, and PHP code - just
contact me.

Lastly, get listed! Once you have the blogroll up and running on your site, shoot me an e-mail with your URL, and I'll add you to the list.
Tech Notes!!!
- If you have trouble posting the graphic, you can certainly use a plain text link. If you don't want the graphic at the top of the link list, you could use a plain text link there as well.
- If you use WordPress, it might be tricky to get the list AND the graphic into your sidebar. Maybe. I have sent for help with this. If anyone has tips on making this easier, let me know.
- The height:230px; on the scrollbox example in the sidebar was changed to height:50px; just so you could see the scroll feature in action. When more people join and the list gets longer, you can change the box height to suit you.
- Here's some code (thanks, Chris!) that you can try in your WordPress sidebar style sheet:
Join Library Links'); ?>
