Info Share

Ah, the Info Share page. Since the very beginning of libraryland, I have had this "idea" that what would make this site unique would be a collection of pathfinders, bibliographies, webliographies, and research papers written by librarians, library students, and other information professionals. I am constantly impressed by the quality of thought, writing, and work created by my fellow library bloggers, and I would love to be able to create a repository for it here. It's been very slow going in terms of getting people to contribute; I'm hoping that the revamp of the site will reach some new readers, and perhaps inspire you to share what you have.

The documents will be presented here as PDF (download Adobe or Foxit if you don’t have a PDF reader) to best preserve the original design of the works, as well as help preserve copyright. Unless otherwise noted by a Creative Commons license, you should assume that the work is under full copyright, and that any use of the information found in a paper should be properly attributed.

If you have info you'd like to share, but prefer a link to the work on your own page, that's fine. I am also very open to the idea of re-creating this page as a wiki, if people think that that format would be more effective. Please, give me your ideas!

If you would like to submit a paper (and I hope you will!), please send it to me via e-mail as a WORD, txt., rtf., or PDF attachment (if possible). If you don’t have a PDF writter, no worries - I will convert it for you. Also note what kind of copyright you want (if you aren’t sure, check out Creative Commons, or opt for full copyright).
